How to Bulk Delete ChatGPT Conversations

If you’re like me, using ChatGPT has become a mainstay in your day-to-day work. And, also like me, you probably have hundreds of chats you’ve stored.

I’m here to tell you that you can delete or archive those chats in bulk. Oh, and you can also manage them by putting them into projects (folders), archiving, exporting, and more.

Note: You must have a paid ChatGPT account to do this.

Oh, did I mention you can do this for free? Yes, FREE!

How to bulk delete, archive, or organize your ChatGPT conversations.

  1. Open a Chrome browser.
  2. Search for Superpower ChatGPT extension.
  3. Click the Add to Chrome button to add the extension to your browser.
  4. Now open ChatGPT in your Chrome browser.
  5. You will notice a new icon in the bottom, right corner (on a desktop). See screenshot below.
  6. Click that to open the manager.
  7. In the top, left corner, click on the conversation icon. On the right, change your waffle view to a list view rather than icons.
  8. Check the boxes for the conversations you want to delete, archive, export, organize into folders, etc. Tip: If you hold down the shift key and scroll to another item, it will check-mark all the conversations in between.
  9. Click the delete button at the top.

You can use the Superpower ChatGPT Chrome extension for many other tasks as well. Check out this video for more tips.
